Frequently Asked Questions
Hire Bike Inclusions
The cost of your Hire Bike will cover your fuel consumed for the day, as well as Pirelli Supercorsa race tyres fitted on your bike and tyre warmer service throughout your session to ensure your bike is track ready each and every session!
What happens if I crash the hire bike?
South West Track Days run under an 'any-fault' policy, meaning no matter who is at fault, the person riding the bike that crashes is liable to pay for all damaged parts. This will be invoiced to the entrant within 7 days of the event.
There will also be an $30 fee per crash, regardless of if there is damage or not to the bike.
Can I bring my own bike?
For our Track Days at the Warrnambool Kart Track there are strict bike limitations imposed due to the nature of a go kart track. When bringing your own bike we require no machines over 300cc capacity, and these must have crash knobs and nylon sliders installed on handle bar ends, front and rear axles and either side of the frame.
For our Mac Park track days and Broadford Coaching Days - there are very minimal bike restrictions in place as this is a full sized race track and suit all types of bikes!
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Your entry fee will not be refunded if you choose to cancel after payment has been made. Refunds will only be given if South West Track Days deems your reason to be acceptable. Weather Conditions: If South West Track Days are forced to cancel the event due to bad weather or poor track conditions, the entrant may choose to either have their payment amount refunded or they can transfer their entry over to the next available date. Please note, events will only be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions such as hail or lightening.
What Licence Do I Need?
As we are insured under Motorcycling Australia [M.A.], we require all entrants to hold either a M.A. National Race Licence or Recreational Licence. If you do not hold one of these, you can purchase an M.A. One Day Licence from us on the day for a cost of $38. More information can be found on the Motorcycling Australia website

What is included with your coaching?
Ted Collins & Tayal Relph are accredited Motorcycle Road Racing Coach, so you are in good hands! We offer coaching generally for the first half of the day, because we all have much more fun when you are going fast AND you're in control. This is free, and always included with your booking as we think it is a vital component to running successful and safe track days.
What are your age restrictions?
Our track days cater for Juniors aged from 9 and up! If we have Juniors enter, we do run a dedicated session for them, so they aren't riding around with adults. Send us a message to find out more about our Juniors Program.
Is there camping available?
Camping is only available for our Mac Park and Broadford events. Mac Park camping is available for an additional cost of $15 per person, per night. Broadford Camping is available for an additional cost of $10 per person, per night.
